Rational Selection of Permanent Magnets for Magnetic Bearings Based on Demagnetizing Fields
摘要
Abstract
The study discusses determination of the magnitude and description of the topography of demagnetizing fields for permanent magnets made of rare-earth chemical elements. To describe the magnetic field strength of a magnet, the fields of a permanent magnet are calculated using the equivalent solenoid method. Dimensionless criteria of optimal sizes for magnets of different shapes, such that ensure a given bearing capacity or rigidity of bearings with minimal costs of the magnetically hard material, are determined.
