Industrial enterprises’ foreign trade practices are considered. The strategic importance of digital tools is established. Digital tools not only improve internal processes but offer new prospects for growth, development, and competition in the international arena. In an era of digitization, enterprises that adopt digital tools are better able to survive and thrive in a complex and dynamic global economy. Under sanctions pressure, in constantly changing economic conditions, Russian enterprises may look to digitization as a means of responding swiftly to new market conditions and consumer preferences. Sanctions may change with change in the political situation and international relationships. Digital platforms permit the aggregation and analysis of data regarding customers. On that basis, personalized offers may be fashioned, with accompanying gains in customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
