Abstract

The hardness of surface layers of Hardox-500 steel is studied after hydroabrasive machining (waterjet cutting) in a FLOW-Gut system, with cooling in different conditions. The surface hardness after waterjet cutting is greater than after grinding and polishing of a surface obtained by traditional cutting.
