Abstract <p>The influence of the length and depth of milling of rectangular grooves in composite wood materials on the runout, linear wear, and deformation of the disc cutter is considered. Based on experimental results, a new technology for sharpening of disc cutters is proposed, which ensures the correct shape and precise dimensions of rectangular grooves.</p>

The influence of the length and depth of milling of rectangular grooves in composite wood materials on the runout, linear wear, and deformation of the disc cutter is considered. Based on experimental results, a new technology for sharpening of disc cutters is proposed, which ensures the correct shape and precise dimensions of rectangular grooves.
