Abstract <p>The influence of the parameters in the copy piercing electrical discharge machining of polymer composites on the wear of the tool electrode is investigated. A full factorial experiment is followed by regression analysis, yielding a regression model that describes the relation between the wear (by mass and extent) of the tool electrode and the machining conditions: the current, time of pulse action, and the voltage, individually and in combination.</p>
