End-to-End Rationing of Work Completion Time at Car Repair Shop: Quality and Process Efficiency Managing Methodology
摘要
Abstract
The paper proposes a methodology for end-to-end rationing of work completion time at car repair shop, which integrates the time rationing stages, deviation monitoring, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA, Ishikawa diagram), corrective actions, and efficiency assessment. The proposed methodology provides a reduction in the average repair time, time spread, and an increase in throughput by means of automation, taking into account complexity factors and inter-operational downtime, which allows increasing the economic efficiency of enterprises. Moreover, the methodology allows increasing customer satisfaction through transparency of service timelines.
