Stress–Strain State of a Transmission with Elliptical Gears
摘要
Abstract
Transmissions with noncircular gears are increasingly employed in new devices and machines. The forces acting in a pair of elliptical gears are analyzed, as well as the stress–strain state. A complicating factor is the variability of the angular velocity, forces, and torques on account of the nonlinear transfer function of the mechanism considered. Calculation of the forces in a transmission and finite-element modeling are presented as an example. The results obtained by various methods are verified.
