Abstract <p>The use of microwave equipment in the metal-induced crystallization of silicon–carbon protective coatings on flexible polymer substrates is proposed. The treatment parameters and crystallization conditions are analyzed. The crystalline structure of the coating may be improved by using a substrate based on colloidal graphite.</p>
