An Adaptive Model for Digital Transformation of an Organization, Taking into Account the Level of Innovation Maturity
摘要
Modern organizations are increasingly faced with the need to transition to digital business models. However, the practice of implementation of digital solutions often demonstrates a high failure rate, especially in industries with low innovation maturity. This is because digital transformation is often initiated without taking into account the organization’s current state of readiness for change and without a preliminary assessment of internal and external factors. The purpose of this study is to develop an adaptive digital transformation model based on assessing an organization’s level of innovation maturity and selecting appropriate digital solutions. The article presents a system of maturity indicators, formulas for calculating an integrated readiness index, an algorithm for adapting digital initiatives, and a model for assessing implementation effectiveness. The proposed approach enables organizations to implement digital transformation in stages, avoiding strategic pitfalls and ensuring alignment between target solutions and the current level of organizational development. The model can be used as a tool for managing digital change in industry, high-tech businesses, logistics, and the service sectors. It also opens up opportunities for creating customized digital roadmaps and developing digital competency development programs.
