Properties of Anticorrosion Coating Produced by Arc Metallization
摘要
Abstract
An anticorrosion coating based on Zn85–Al15 zinc–aluminum alloy applied to St. 3 low-carbon steel by arc metallization is investigated. This coating is highly adhesive, has low porosity, and provides reliable protection against corrosion in aggressive media (such as chloride solutions). The results may be used to protect food processing equipment—in particular, baking ovens.
