Influence of Reciprocating Wire Supply in the Plasma Surfacing of Aluminum on Weld Bead Geometry
摘要
Abstract
Plasma surfacing by means of large-diameter 1587 aluminum alloy wire with reciprocating wire supply is considered. Wire supply along and transverse to a single applied bead is considered (longitudinal and transverse supply). A mathematical model is obtained for plasma surfacing in the case of an individual applied bead with reciprocating wire supply. In comparison with the standard system, reciprocating wire supply increases the melting depth in surfacing and decreases the bead height.
