Abstract <p>The article considers the influence of roughness parameters, in particular, microgeometry parameters of the mating surfaces of interference fits, on fit strength and tightness under different types of loading and under exposure to gases and liquids. A complex indicator of surface roughness and a method for ensuring fit tightness at the design stage are proposed.</p>

Abstract
