Calculation of a Roller Separator-Free Rolling Bearing with Single-Row Gear Engagement

Abstract
This study investigates a separator-free roller bearing with single-row gear engagement. Using an analytical approach, the load on the rollers leading to frictional-thermal failure of the bearing is determined. A strength analysis performed in ANSYS software reveals the stress–strain state of the loaded bearing. The findings are compared with the results of prior studies on non-standard gear-type roller bearings.
