Copy-Piercing Electric Discharge Machining with Electrodes Produced by Selective Laser Melting

Abstract
The applicability of electrodes of complex shape produced by selective laser melting for copy-piercing electric discharge machining is studied experimentally. Data are obtained regarding electrode wear and the change in surface roughness Ra during copy-piercing electric discharge machining. The applicability of electrodes produced by selective laser melting is confirmed.
