Abstract <p>Accelerated determination of the endurance limit range in structural steels (35, 30KhGSA, 45, and 40Kh steels) is proposed on the basis of step-by-step testing and measurement of the electrical resistivity of the samples. Tensile and compressive tests are conducted in air at normal temperature. For comparison, the Locati method is considered. The proposed method performs well for unalloyed steels with ferrite–pearlite structure.</p>
