Abstract <p>The issues related to professional training and quality of driver education are considered. The design of car simulators is analyzed and the design of an interactive car simulator, which is a combination of a virtual simulator and a training device using a real car frame, is described. The functional structure of the developed simulator, which can be used for professional selection considering the psychophysiological qualities of a person at the stage of driver training, is presented.</p>
