Preproduction of Conical End Mills on a Five-Coordinate CNC Grinding Machine: Theoretical Analysis
摘要
Abstract
Conical end mills are widely used for the production of aircraft components. In machining such end mills, the distribution of the cut layers over different sections of the wheel in shaping the transition section and back of a helical channel is taken into account. Relations are established between the initial design parameters of the channel and the grinding wheel (in particular, the wheel diameter) and the motion of different components of the CNC grinding machine. On that basis, a multicoordinate grinding technology for conical end mills on a CNC grinding machine with a reasonable shaping procedure is proposed.
