New Approaches to the Design of Ice Accumulators and Intensification of the Ice Freezing and Melting Processes
摘要
Abstract
A classification of modern ice accumulation systems is provided. It is shown that the main disadvantage of ice accumulators is the low intensity of ice melting during discharge. To intensify the discharge, a film flowing mechanism for ice surfaces with a high heat transfer coefficient is proposed. For the first time, a criterion equation for the process of ice melting on the tube surface during film water flowing has been obtained.
