Influence of the Machining Conditions in the Turning of a Dispersion-Hardened Cast Composite with an Aluminum Matrix
摘要
Abstract
The components of the cutting force and the cutting temperature are determined in turning a cast composite with an aluminum matrix produced by internal oxidation, taking the influence of the supply per turn, cutting depth, and cutting speed into account. By means of Microsoft Office Excel software, empirical formulas for the components of the cutting force and the cutting temperature as a function of the supply, cutting depth, and cutting speed are derived from experimental graphs of the cutting force and cutting temperature against the cutting speed.
