Superplasticity Temperatures and Forging of Orthorhombic Titanium Alloys
摘要
Abstract
The superplasticity temperature range of VIT-1 orthorhombic titanium alloy is investigated; its forging and stamping temperatures are established. In this alloy, dynamic recrystallization under tension is accompanied by pseudoamorphization due to vacancy (pore) expansion. As a result, the mechanism of shear deformation switches to viscous flow, with the formation of microcracks along the grain boundaries in forging and stamping.
