Using Independent Computing Nodes with Three-Valued Logic for Machine-to-Machine Interaction of Heterogeneous Industrial Automation Devices in a Unified Digital Production Ecosystem

The article considers a new approach to the implementation of executive programs for machine-to-machine interaction of heterogeneous industrial automation devices that supports their operation in a unified digital production ecosystem. The proposed method involves transmitting executive programs to heterogeneous industrial devices used in production via independent computing nodes that asynchronously interact with each other and operate on three-valued logic. It is shown that nodes can be emulated or implemented physically and incorporated into real devices regardless of the type of device. A method of converting cyclic and hierarchically nested algorithms of machine-to-machine interaction of a group of devices to node networks is considered. An example of generation of a node network topology for monitoring and control of a pneumatic drive is given.
