Abstract <p>The management of enterprises’ innovative development implies a focus on the future, rather than the present. It requires a systems approach to management; the integration of different functions and resources; emphasis on intangible assets; and flexibility and adaptability. In the present work, theoretical analysis of concepts regarding the management of enterprises’ innovative development provides the basis for proposing a set of effective management tools, including the development of an innovation management strategy; organizational mechanisms; tools for the development of competencies and technological approaches; and financial mechanisms.</p>
