Strength of Oriented-Fiber-Reinforced Antifriction Composites Based on Binders with a High Content of Epoxide Groups

Abstract
The study investigates the ultimate strength properties of antifriction composites based on epoxy resins UP-610, EPAF, and EKhD reinforced with fibers of alkali-free glass and polytetrafluoroethylene oriented along a fixed plane. The ultimate strength values of the composites under uniaxial compression in the direction perpendicular to the fibers are calculated for different ratios of the composite components.
