Abstract <p>The paper presents the results of analyzing the cases that meet criteria for increased levels of gross beta radioactivity of the ground-level atmosphere according to Roshydromet’s regulatory documents. Based on data from observation sites of territorial radiometric divisions for the period 2016–2023, potential sources causing an increase in the activity of radionuclides in the surface air are considered.</p>
