Abstract <p>The paper examines the dynamics of currents in the southwestern Kara Sea according to the data of expeditionary research. The results of continuous 11-month observations of the current using ADCP at a submerged buoy station are presented. Some facts of the synoptic impact on the Yamal current dynamics and the process of the transport of the Ob-Yenisei Current plume into the southwestern Kara Sea are discovered.</p>
