Selecting Parameters for Components of High-Voltage Current-Loop Power Supplies to Ensure Maximum Load Power

Abstract
The methodology for selecting the parameters of the power section elements of a current-loop power supply circuit is considered. An analytical expression for load power as a function of these parameters is obtained. It is shown that deviations of the parameters from the maximum of this function lead to underutilization of the power supply components. The results are obtained analytically and confirmed by numerical circuit simulation.
