Сontroller of the External Voltage Stabilization Circuit for a DC Transmission Electrical System with Voltage Converters
摘要
The controllers of the external DC voltage stabilization circuit are widely used in electrical circuits of a multiterminal DC transmission system with voltage converters. However, precise power flow control with the use of such a controller is difficult due to affecting DC line resistance. The paper proposes a controller for an external DC voltage stabilization circuit intended for to minimize power flow control errors. For this purpose, an additional active power stabilizer has been added to the controller structure, in which the deviation of the active power flow is introduced into the controller of the external voltage stabilization circuit as a feedforward compensation. The minimizing error of power flow control can be achieved by means of a continuous adjustment of DC voltage reference signal. The efficiency of the proposed controller has been tested through the simulation with the use of a MATLAB Simulink software package. The controller can minimize the deviations of the active power flow from the desired target signals indicated in the power flow schedule, which provides an increase in the reliability of the electrical system.
