Abstract

This article focuses on a comprehensive assessment of the electromagnetic, dynamic, and acoustic characteristics of electrical machines at the design stage—before the creation of a physical prototype. One of the most effective tools for such assessment is numerical modeling using the finite element method, which allows for a comprehensive analysis of the designed structure. Modern simulation methods and software tools enable the study of any type of energy conversion. Developed and verified approaches can be successfully applied to a wide range of electromagnetic devices.
