Abstract <p>The development of individual electric transport necessitates equipping parking lots in existing and newly built urban residential estates with electric-charging stations. Their parameters and volumes of power consumption must be consistent with the capacity of power-supply systems and take into account daily load changes. To assess the available power, this article considers the daily load schedules of apartment buildings on weekdays and weekends. Daily power profiles of children’s and secondary educational institutions are analyzed, and an assessment of the time intervals of load accumulation and dropping is made. The possibility of using the power reserved for emergency load is shown. Typical specific daily load schedules of apartment buildings are developed for use in selecting the parameters of electric-charging stations. The application of harmonic analysis to daily power profiles showed that the first four harmonics and a constant component equal to the specific daily power consumption are sufficient for their analytical description. The law of normal distribution of harmonic coefficients characterizing the specific level of harmonics is proven. The statistical identity of the power profiles of apartment buildings in Moscow is shown, and the need to separate them for workdays and weekends is substantiated.</p>
