Abstract <p>The simulation of an induction motor by the method of state-space variables is considered, the adequacy of the proposed method is shown by calculations of the power plant of electric rolling stock. It is shown that this approach can be applied to calculations of a traction power-supply system with a detailed reproduction of converter systems and traction drive systems.</p>

Abstract
