Abstract <p>A method for analyzing the control quality of an automatic velocity-control system in the presence of a disturbance as a random path profile represented as a stationary Gaussian process with a known autocorrelation function and spectral density has been considered. The forming filter necessary to obtain a random function with the specified statistical parameters has been selected. The operation of an automatic velocity-control system when driving along one of the implementations of a random path profile has been simulated with further analysis of the obtained results.</p>
