Abstract <p>The effect of supply voltage frequency on the efficiency of an ozone generator is considered. An iterative process has been developed to model the motion of ions in the discharge gap of the ozone generator and determine the optimal frequency that corresponds to the maximum efficiency. The dependences of the optimal frequency on temperature, pressure, composition of the gas mixture passing through the ozone generator, and applied voltage are investigated.</p>
