Abstract

Electromagnetic processes in valve electromechanical systems (VEMSs) with position-dependent switching—synchronous generators with a rectifier, synchronous motors with dependent voltage or current inverters, and parametric circuits with mutually inductive coupling—are analyzed. The mathematical model describing a VEMS contains differential equations with periodic coefficients. Analysis is carried out using the theory of active parametric electrical circuits as applied to a two-circuit replacement circuit.
