On the Application of Statistical Sampling Methods for Monitoring Electric-Power-Quality Indicators in Industrial Power-Supply Systems

The application of statistical sampling methods is aimed at indirectly identifying changes in the operation of electrical receivers in order to make timely decisions when the electric-power-quality indicators (EPQIs) deviate from the standard values. It is shown that statistical sampling methods of EPQIs based on a limited number of observations of voltage parameters over a relatively short time interval allow us to form a conclusion on compliance with the requirements for the quality of electricity over a long period of time. It is advisable to use statistical sampling methods in power-quality-control systems of industrial enterprises in order to reduce the requirements for equipment and communication channels, as well as the costs of their creation.
