Abstract <p>The study is concerned with the effect of inoculation of wheat plant seeds with cells of two endophytic strains of <i>Bacillus subtilis</i> on the formation of endomycorrhiza in the roots under salt stress. The indicators of mycorrhization of plant roots are found to decrease both under salt stress in soil and during seed treatment with endophytic bacteria. At the same time, under salt stress, an increase in mycorrhization rates is observed in plants inoculated with <i>B. subtilis</i>. It was revealed that <i>B. subtilis</i> bacteria reduced stress in plants resulting from soil salinification. The obtained results showed the possible character of the simultaneous relationship of plants with representatives of two kingdoms, that is, bacteria and fungi. In two conditions of host-plant exposure to stress action, it is probably more beneficial for all three participants of the symbiotic system to survive together, while preserving the reproductive potential for the next generations.</p>

Abstract
