Organic Sulfur Compounds in Kuznetsk Basin Coal
摘要
Abstract
In the present work, sulfur compounds in the organic mass of Kuznetsk Basin coal are investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The difference in sulfur content in coal of different metamorphic development is demonstrated. For D coal, sulfur is mainly present as thiophene, whereas the sulfate form predominates in DG and GZh coal. In anthracite, mainly sulfides are seen. Promising chemical methods of determining coal’s sulfur content are outlined.
