Compact Laser System for Frequency Stability Dissemination in Metrology and Quantum Computing Applications
摘要
Abstract
A scheme for transferring frequency stability from an ultrastable laser at a wavelength of 871 nm to a laser at a wavelength of 1550 nm has been implemented. The results of comparing the laser frequency at a wavelength of 1550 nm with the frequencies of two reference lasers showed that the developed system ensures a relative frequency instability less than 4 × 10–15 for intervals from 0.4 to 2 s and less than 10–14 for averaging intervals from 0.2 to 500 s. A femtosecond optical frequency comb and a laser with a reference cavity are designed to meet the requirements of compactness and portability for use in field and onboard applications.
