New Method for TiO2 Particle Detection in Plastic
摘要
Abstract—
Raman scattering and photoluminescence techniques are used to study polystyrene containing TiO2 (the white dye pigment). It is shown that the spectral features of TiO2 emission, caused by the vanadium intrinsic impurity in TiO2, can be used as a luminescent marker that allows the presence of TiO2 particles in plastic to be determined.
