Anti-Corrosion Coating of Metal Products by Gas-Flame Spraying of Zinc Using Electrolysis-Water Installations
摘要
Abstract
This paper presents the basic physical and mechanical properties of zinc and its application areas. It also demonstrates the feasibility of using flame spraying for applying zinc coatings. The chemical reactions occurring between the combustion products of a hydrogen-oxygen gas mixture and zinc, as well as the sprayed metal surface, are examined. The influence of these chemical reactions on the mechanical properties of the sprayed compound is determined. Recommendations are developed for flame spraying zinc onto the surface of metal parts using electrolytic-water generators for processing thin body metal.
