Abstract <p>Correctly defining the main machine parameters, taking into account specialization for specific production tasks, allows for the most efficient design, manufacture, and operation. This paper presents a methodology for selecting the main parameters of rotary forging machines. Several rotary forging machine drive options have been considered based on their use for forging pipe ends made of corrosion-resistant austenitic steels before drawing.</p>
