Selecting the Main Parameters of a Rotary Forging Machine for Forging the Ends of Pipes Made of Corrosion-Resistant Austenitic Steels before Drawing

Abstract
Correctly defining the main machine parameters, taking into account specialization for specific production tasks, allows for the most efficient design, manufacture, and operation. This paper presents a methodology for selecting the main parameters of rotary forging machines. Several rotary forging machine drive options have been considered based on their use for forging pipe ends made of corrosion-resistant austenitic steels before drawing.
