摘要

Abstract

The results of an industrial study on reducing the “rolling skin” defect in the continuous hot rolling mill 2000 at PAO Severstal are presented. Parameters for controlling the production of hot-rolled coil steel have been determined: strip surface topography, rolling force charts, and assessment of the condition of the working roll body surfaces in the roughing mill group stands. Practical recommendations for monitoring production parameters have been developed; their implementation has made it possible to predict and timely perform the replacement of working rolls in the roughing mill group to minimize the increase in rolling skin defect occurrence.
