Abstract

The paper presents the results of the development of technological modes for the production of hot-rolled coil products with a thickness of 9 mm from medium-carbon (0.20–0.34% C) low-alloy steels microalloyed with boron (0.002–0.005% B), and pipes made from them. The hot plasticity of steels at temperatures of 1200–700°C and deformation resistance at temperatures of 1100–700°C and deformation rates from 0.1 to 10 s–1 have been studied. Post-deformation cooling and heat treatment of the steels under study have been simulated under various conditions. The results of obtaining industrial samples of products with a temporary resistance of 1040–1050 MPa after heat treatment have been presented.
