Method for Modifying Nickel Surfaces with Gold to Provide Corrosion Resistance in Oxide Melts
摘要
Abstract
In order to provide an increase in the corrosion resistance of metal structural materials with respect to highly reactive melts, a method for modifying product surfaces with noble metals has been developed. The method has been studied and tested for the case of a nickel-gold pair. The method for modifying the surface of products involves the electrochemical deposition of gold onto prepared nickel plates and their subsequent high-temperature treatment in an inert atmosphere.
