Abstract <p>In order to provide an increase in the corrosion resistance of metal structural materials with respect to highly reactive melts, a method for modifying product surfaces with noble metals has been developed. The method has been studied and tested for the case of a nickel-gold pair. The method for modifying the surface of products involves the electrochemical deposition of gold onto prepared nickel plates and their subsequent high-temperature treatment in an inert atmosphere.</p>
