Abstract <p>The article presents a scientific rationale for using an aqueous emulsion with water-repellent additives as a cutting fluid for caprolon turning. It is experimentally proven that turning caprolon with the supply of an aqueous emulsion of potassium palmitate to the cutting zone provides a higher quality machined surface compared to the traditional turning method.</p>
