Abstract

When substantiating management decisions, it is necessary to consider the industry as an integral part of the country’s economy, as a tool for capital accumulation. Key issues include the assessment of investments in metallurgy, based on the possibilities of their subsequent long-term effective use. The fate of assets predetermines the fate of investments, and they form the need for metal. Within the framework of the proposed approach, the features of managing the increase in public wealth and its impact on the processes of industry development are considered. Assessments of the adjustment of the conditions for making management decisions in the medium term are proposed.
