The Effect of Individual Dopants on the Density and Magnetic Properties of the Isotropic Hard Magnetic Alloy Fe–28Cr–15Co

Abstract
In present work various doping effects of powder metallurgy Fe–28Cr–15Co (wt %) isotropic hard magnetic alloy with medium cobalt content were investigated. Elements such as vanadium, molybdenum and titanium were used as dopants. A high density of the alloy with vanadium and molybdenum doping and an increase in porosity of the alloy with titanium doping were noted. It was determined that all of the investigated dopants reduce the optimal isothermal holding temperature of Fe–28Cr–15Co alloy. It has been shown that molybdenum and titanium can increase the coercive force, and vanadium doping somewhat reduces the level of magnetic properties under the studied heat treatment conditions.
