Abstract <p>The purpose of this article is to examine the activities of a library from the perspective of social marketing, i.e., its readiness to initiate and solve social problems. The main objectives of social marketing in a scientific library are to ensure the openness and accessibility of information resources, provide a comfortable environment for users, promote nonprofit services, and organize cultural and educational events.</p>
