Abstract <p>This article analyzes foreign experience in the use of educational video podcasts in support of open scientific research to improve the system of information support for Russian researchers within the framework of the Open Science Library platform of the State Public Scientific and Technical Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. To study the international experience, an analysis of educational video materials posted on 26 websites of foreign universities was conducted. These cover key aspects of the research cycle: scientific data management, the use of digital tools in the research process, adherence to the principles of open science, and other related topics. Based on the identified trends, the system of tools for supporting open research in the State Public Scientific and Technical Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences was improved. Materials including recommendations for the use of digital solutions and open practices were published on the Dzen platform, which helps popularize open research among scientists. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of video podcasts as a tool for supporting scientific activity, emphasizing the success of integrating international experience into the Russian context. The proposed approach not only expands access to relevant methods, but also stimulates interest in open science, providing scientists with structured resources to improve the quality of their research.</p>
