Abstract

The article examines the systematization of initial data for a representative sample when controlling the financial and economic activities of a company (enterprises, corporations, and organizations). An equal probability of sampling (representation) is achieved through application of one of the following methods: random selection; systematic selection; combined selection. At the same time, minimization of strategic risks (control and verification errors) of the first and second types could be achieved. After constructing the sample, a numerical evaluation of reliability is performed using mathematical criteria. A sequential analysis is proposed to make it possible to obtain simple-to-use ratios, during which one can not only fix the probability of errors of the first and second kind but also determine the necessary number of intermediate extrapolations of the results.
