Abstract <p>Offshore seismic data acquisition using simultaneous shooting has significant advantages over the classical single source seismic survey. However, it is necessary to eliminate the interference of multiple sources, i.e., perform deblending. The paper discusses the current state of deblending techniques and suggests that application of sparse inversion is the best way to suppress the blending noise.</p>
